Kia ora, my name is Kimiora King, and I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to serve our people as one of the new Whānau Ora Iwi Navigators here at Mōkai Pātea Services. On top of the many blessings in my life I was fortunate enough to receive my greatest of all in 2013 when I became a māmā to Tatiana Rose who attends St Joseph’s Taihape.

I was raised in Waiōuru and have now lived in Taihape for 12 years. I have spent most of this
time (11yrs) working in the hospitality and service sector at our local McDonalds, where I started as a crew member and worked up to Restaurant Manager level.

I have so much to carry over from my career at McDonalds and have met so many amazing people along the way. Although I had the experience and knowledge to progress further within the business, I knew that it was time for a change and was ready to support, connect with our people and to nurture the passion within.

I look forward to meeting more people within our community growing within such an important organisation.

“Ko taku aroha i manaaki ki ngā tāngata katoa”

It is my passion to support the people.
