Kia Ora, my name is Kimiora King, I was raised in Waiouru and have now lived in Taihape for 13 years with my daughter Tatiana Rose, who attends St Joseph’s Kura. Waiouru is considered my home, my place of peace, however my people are from Tāneatua and Ruātoki. I also Whakapapa to Tūwharetoa and am hoping I can start this journey to learn more about this side of my Whanau.

I have been blessed to be given the opportunity to serve the people in this rohe, in the Whanau Ora Iwi Navigator role here at Mokai Patea Services, for 2 years this August (2024). This journey so far has been rewarding on so many levels. I have been fortunate enough to be immersed in so many different key development opportunities that are constantly guiding me within my mahi, and in all aspects of my life

“Ko taku aroha i manaaki ki ngā tāngata katoa”

It is my passion to support the people.
