Personal Statement:

I was born and raised in Taihape on our family farm.  After the birth of our first child, we moved to Palmerston North to pursue my passion and commitment to the revitalisation of Te Reo Māori me ōna tikanga.

I have worked in Māori education for 20 plus years in Te Kōhanga Reo and Te Kura Kaupapa Māori. It is a honour and a privilege that as a Ngāti Whitikaupeka Rūnanga delegate I sit on the board of Mōkai Pātea Services.
