I spent 23 years as an instructor in the South African Air Force before making the move into school teaching back home. In 2024, my family and I made the leap across the water to New Zealand, where I taught in Auckland for two years.

We moved down to Taihape in June 2026, and as of today, I’ve joined the team at Mōkai Pātea Services. Having spent my entire career in instruction and education, I’m really looking forward to bringing that experience to this role and serving the local Taihape community with dignity and pride.
