Whanau Ora Iwi Navigator

I’m originally from Cape Town, South Africa, where I was born and raised. I attended Tygerberg High School on a sports scholarship and spent many years there, which shaped my early foundation.

After school, I played rugby with the University of Western Cape clubs and, alongside the sport, worked for a year in Woolworths’ Foods Department. I also had a casual role at TFG as a call centre agent, gaining patience and communication skills that would serve me later.

In 2015, I began my professional journey as a Child and Youth Care Worker with the Department of Social Development, a role where I discovered my passion for working with young people, advocating for their wellbeing and growth.

I married my partner in 2017, and together we have an amazing son who continually inspires us to reach higher. In 2023 we decided to emigrate, and by early 2025 we finally settled in Taihape, New Zealand. Our move was driven by the desire to further our professional development and to offer our son a safer, more enriching environment.

We’re excited to be part of this beautiful region and look forward to contributing positively and growing with this wonderful community.
