Tena koutou katoa,
I grew up in Mataroa Village just down the road from my Nan (Lady/Arihia) and Papa (Tom). I attended Taihape College and Whanganui Girls College before heading to Pōneke to study at Sir George Seymour College of Tourism where I gained my Advanced Diploma in Tourism, Travel and Business.
I have moved around a bit, from Wellington, to Taupō, Hāwera, and Whanganui but have found my place here back at home in Taihape with my three tamariki (one of whom attends boarding school in Whanganui). I have worked in many different areas from retail, hospitality, adventure tourism, dental health, and childcare.
I am very much looking forward to my new journey here at Mokai Patea Services as a Whanau Ora Iwi Navigator and being out and about helping our whānau while learning more about our rohe and te reo.
